Black Rock City or Bust
I'm off to the playa, this year, more prepared than last, with more glowy stuff than last, and with the ability to keep in touch with a shiny new satellite phone. For those that want to find me on the playa, I'll be at the Happy Birthday camp at 4:30 and Amnesia.

Wes, I came upon this watching Charlie LeDuff on Discovery Times TV Channel, and got your blog from Googling it. Thanks for the spectacular photos, I enjoyed them tremendously...
I have a Blogger site, and if you go there you will find many pix from Hurricane Katrina. I took off and went out there for a few weeks last summer after it hit, volunteering as a ham radio operator. I havn't been to the Burning Man Festival yet but plan to go with my cousin this year. I havn't seen her spin fire yet. Thank you soo much for the pix. I'm soo excited to see these things for myself. Being from the East coast I can't wait to get on the dessert. Thanks again.
